Jeffry C. Long holds a degree in electrical engineering from California State University Fresno with supplemental studies in computer programming, theater and video production. He is a member of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and an Audio Engineering Society (AES) member and past section chairman. Responsibilities have included broadcast engineering, electronics design, acoustics analysis and measurement, and sound system engineering. He has worked as a systems design engineer and software development group leader for JBL Professional and Mackie Designs, as senior engineer and RME for HIS Sound, Inc. and as manager for professional sound division of PF Communications, Inc. He is currently operates an independent engineering firm, JC Long Consulting
